Dine Out on April 27 to Help Subaru End AIDS

Subaru® is hosting Dining Out For Life® this year, and you're invited!

Subaru characterizes the Subaru Love Promise as "...a pledge to do right by the communities in which we all live and work," and one of the things it's doing this year is hosting Dining Out For Life®, a single-day event that aims to raise money to help end the fight against AIDS.

This year's event takes place Thursday, April 27 at 3,000 restaurants located in 60 cities across North America.* Dine at one of those restaurants on that day, and it will donate a portion of that day's proceeds to fund HIV/AIDS care, prevention, education, testing, counseling, and other essential services in that city.**

Designer Mondo Guerra, winner of Lifetime’s Project Runway All-Stars, is one of this year's volunteer spokespeople—along with Ted Allen, host of Food Network’s Chopped; actor Pam Grier (Foxy Brown, Jackie Brown); and chef Daisy Martinez from Food Network’s Viva Daisy!—and he's created a kaleidoscope of color from a series of illustrations he made celebrating each Dining Out For Life® AIDS service organization. Check them out in this 360-degree video below.

Dining Out For Life® raises around $4 million each year, and we hope this year's event does even better than normal. The team at Herb Gordon Subaru is proud to represent a brand that does so much for the communities and causes across the US, and we know we're not the only ones. As Alan Bethke, senior vice president of marketing, Subaru of America Inc., says:

As part of Subaru’s Love Promise, we remain committed to supporting the causes our drivers care about, including joining the fight to overcome an HIV/AIDS epidemic that affects many in our local communities and millions around the world. We are proud to once again work with Dining Out for Life to spread awareness for such a worthy cause.

To learn more about what we're planning on doing for our community—or if you have any suggestions!—don't hesitate to call, contact us online or visit us in person at 3161 Automobile Blvd, Silver Spring, MD 20904 to let us know.
