Make a Difference and Share the Love® with Subaru

The 9th Annual Share the Love® Event is expected to raise $90 million for your favorite charities

The team at Herb Gordon Subaru is making our world a little bit brighter during this year’s Share the Love® Event. An extension of Subaru’s Love Promise, this annual event serves over six hundred hometown charities across the nation and four national charities: ASPCA®, Make-A-Wish®, Meals on Wheels America, and the National Park Foundation.

From now until January 3, Subaru will donate $250 for every new Subaru vehicle sold or leased to the customer’s choice of charity, with a minimum of $250,000 guaranteed for each national charity.* For the first time since the program’s inception, there is no cap on the total donation from Subaru of America to its Share the Love charitable partners, which means there’s no limit to the amount of change we can impart on our communities.

Many dealerships will also be adding their own donations to help hometown charities, and when combined with the total donations from Subaru, we expect to see our efforts raise a total of $90 million. 

Should you designate your donation to one of our four national charities, this is how you'll be promoting positive change around our country:

ASPCA®

The American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals® is celebrating 150 years of providing life-saving protection and care for animals through rescue operations, introducing and enforcing more humane legislation, and supporting shelters across the country. The ASPCA® relies on donations and public support, and through the organization, Share the Love has impacted the rescue, transport, and adoption of almost 30,000 animals.

Make-A-Wish®

Sometimes all it takes is one positive moment to mark a turning point in a child’s fight against cancer or other life-threatening illness. More than 1,200 children have seen their wish come true thanks to Share the Love, leaving them feeling stronger and giving them a more positive outlook while also bringing their families and communities together.

Meals on Wheels America

This organization provides leadership to more than 5,000 community-based Meals on Wheels programs across the country that are committed to fighting hunger and isolation among our nation’s homebound senior citizens. Every donation helps fund nutritious meals, friendly visits, and safety checks that allow seniors to continue living in their own homes. Share the Love has helped deliver nearly 1.44 million meals since the campaign started!

National Park Foundation

The protection of our nation’s parks is important to us and the National Park Foundation, the official charity of America’s national parks and nonprofit partner to the National Park Service. Over 84 million acres of national parks are protected through the critical conservation and preservation efforts made possible by your donations. Through Share the Love, Subaru has been able to provide funding for important programs and projects in more than 100 national parks, while also helping to increase public awareness and engagement.
