Subaru WRX STI Tackles Bobsled Track

Watch this Subaru take on the world’s oldest natural bobsled track in the Swiss Alps

Subaru has taken its WRX STI from the track to the slopes in a daring show of the brand’s innovation and capability.

The 113-year-old natural bobsled track in the Swiss Alps saw a highly modified Subaru WRX STI with special tires, extra bracing, and other alterations race through the 98-foot ice track, piloted by Mark Higgins, one of the world’s most well-known stunt drivers.

Higgins has worked on the latest James Bond films, Fast & Furious 6, and BBC’s popular show Sherlock. He is also the four-wheeled lap record holder at the harrowing Isle of Man TT Course, but it takes a special kind of driver to successfully tackle icy slopes.
