The 2019 Subaru WRX is a four-door, five-seat compact sedan. It’s offered in five trim levels (WRX, WRX Premium, WRX Limited, WRX STI, and WRX STI Limited). The standard WRX includes highlights such as heated side mirrors, a rearview camera, 60/40-split folding rear seats, Bluetooth® phone and audio connectivity, and a six-speaker media system with touchscreen. The top-of-the-line WRX STI Limited models build off of the baseline model's offerings with optional Recaro® performance front seats, blind-spot monitoring, and a harmon/kardon® audio system with navigation.

The 2019 WRX base level is powered by a 2.0-liter turbocharged SUBARU BOXER® engine that receives an impressive 268 horsepower and 258 pound-feet of torque. A six-speed manual transmission comes standard, along with Subaru Symmetrical All-Wheel Drive. Subaru WRX STI models come equipped with an even more powerful 2.5-liter turbocharged SUBARU BOXER® engine, which receives 310 horsepower and 290 pound-feet of torque. Whichever model you choose, you’ll be sure to have the performance to back up your desire for speed.
The EPA-estimated fuel economy of the entry-level WRX with manual transmission is 23 mpg combined. When the 2.0-liter engine is paired with Subaru’s Sport Lineartronic™ transmission, fuel economy is slightly reduced to an EPA-estimated 21 mpg. The STI models are rated at 19 mpg combined.* Those are great fuel economy ratings for a vehicle of the WRX’s caliber and are sure to please just about any consumer.
