Driving Change

Each year, Subaru stores across the nation participate in the Subaru Share the Love Event to collectively support causes that make an incredible impact on both a national and local scale. Over the past 15 years, $256 million has been donated to national and hometown charities.

After 16 years, Subaru and its participating retailers aim to reach a cumulative total of more than $285 million in donations to returning national charity partners ASPCA®, Make-A-Wish®, Meals on Wheels America, and the National Park Foundation, as well as over 2,100 local hometown charities.

In 2022, the MileOne Autogroup Subaru stores donated $65,000 to the American Cancer Society [ACS]. This contribution helped to improve the lives of people with cancer and their families through advocacy, research, and patient support, to ensure everyone has an opportunity to prevent, detect, treat, and survive cancer. As well as, the ACS Road to Recovery program. The giving continued in 2023, between November 16 and January 2, when Herb Gordon Subaru donated $250 per vehicle sold to a charity of the customer's choice. The customers had a choice between four national charities and one hometown charity.

Herb Gordon Subaru strives to be a strong advocate in the community, not just an automotive retailer. We continue to support local organization engagement and believe these vested relationships are essential to our civic duty.
